My Blog Journey So Far

I started my blog on june 17th 2007 and so far it's been going great! Iv been running for nearly 3 month now and i am averaging about 40-60 hits a day which isn't too bad! Some days i get 60-100 hits, the highest i'v had so far is 140 hits in a day.

I have wrote quite a few posts so far, from which i have found that the more you update your blog the more popular and the more traffic you will recieve.

Big Brother Finals - Who do you want to win?

This Friday is the finals of the ever so popular UK reality TV show, Big Brother. For those who don't know, Big Brother is a show where people are put in to one house, and they have no contact what so ever with the outside world. They are set tasks in the house to win them prizes such as party's and also to win a better shopping budget. They are watched on TV all over the world! each week one house mate or sometimes even two get evicted from the Big Brother house in a live eviction night. The winner of Big Brother receives a smashing £100,000!

The Premiership Season Finally Starts!

The Premiership Season starts Saturday and i cant wait!!! Something tells me its going to be a rocker of a season.

Champions Manchester United are going to be on a high after winning last weeks community shield tie against rivals Chelsea. United have had great success in the transfer market with major signings; Hargreaves, Nani, Anderson and Tevez..hopefully .

Chelsea are going to be in to win! After winning two consecutive premiership titles and missing out last season, i am sure they are going to give it their all. New signings such as Malouda and Pizzaro are going to add further strength and depth to the Chelsea squad - hopefully they will do better than Ballack and Shevchenko .

Thierry Henry's departure is going to hit Arsenal hard, but I'm sure they'll turn it around with their new signing and of course their brilliant manager. He has a fantastic young squad behind him and I'm sure they will be the key to Arsenals future success.

We will never walk alone....... Liverpool are definitely going to aim for the premiership title this season and with Torres on board they are going to be relentless on the pitch. Hopefully this season Liverpool can find a first 11 team which they can stick to, just like united did last season!

Other teams like Spurs, Bolton, Everton, Blackburn will also be looking to get European places, mainly UEFA Cup, but I'm sure champions league will also be in their minds.

All in all it is going to be a breath taking season, which will hopefully end in a high! I Support the mighty red devils, so i have to go with them to win the premiership.......THE TREBLE!

Green Street - Best Film I Have Ever Seen!

Green Street Elite is probably the best film i have ever seen. It truly shows what gangs, wars and violence can result in. It is a very moving & touching film and at the same time it keeps you at the edge of your seat. Green Street is a fantastic film, and i recommend it to everyone, 13+.

Basically there is an American called Matt, he is studying at Harvard University. His room mate stitches him up, by placing his drugs it matt's bag, so he gets kicked out of Harvard. He moves to London, to stay with his sister, Channa. Channa's husband is called Steve and  his brother is called Pete, who is a west ham fan. Steve tells Pete to take Matt to the hammers game with him. Part 3 starts with Matt, Pete and his mates in the pub.

British Summer - 'Summer??'

The lovely British summer......how can we call it summer? 6 weeks of miserable weather.

I live in UK and so far our summer is not going well, We've had rain, rain & rain. They said it was going to be one of the hottest summers, somehow i just can' see that happening

Polluting The Earth! Have your say...

Global warming...its destroying our planet. The burning of fossil fuels in power stations, Cars, planes, huge trucks...all releasing carbon dioxide (green house gases) in the air, which traps heat...rises...causing climate change. We have plenty of solutions to fix this, we can generate electricity through wind turbines, solar panels, hydroelectric power, we can all use public transport, ride a bike or walk to not so distance places. BUT....we cant be bloody bothered.....who cares about the planet.....umm..I DO, its our HOME!
'POLLUTING THE EARTH, IS LIKE SHITTING IN YOUR OWN BED!!'.

Global warming is just one problem, we are also polluting the earth through littering, smoking, burning fossil fuels and much more... Fossil fuels release carbon dioxide and also sulfur dioxide which is a major issue towards acid rain.  Acid rain can kill animals & damage their habitats. Littering...why not just wait until you reach a bin! Every step we take, will make a huge impact in saving our planet.

Britain Goes Smoke Free, July 1st!

Tomorrow's the big day, We finally go smoke free! I'm a non-smoker so obviously i think it's a fantastic idea, Hopefully it will mean less smokers .

Smoking will not be allowed in any public places e.g. Pubs, Restaurants, Schools etc. If anyone is found smoking in public places they will be handed a  £50 fine on the spot.

I want to hear everyones views, smokers and non-smokers, on what you think about Britain going smoke free. Say Farewell to Thierry Henry

The football maestro Thierry Henry, finally says good bye to arsenal as he sets off for his new career at the Nou Camp, home of Barcelona F.C. Thierry has won all the winners medals a player could dream of getting, he has won the world cup, the european Championship, the FA Premier League and many more. But, he still has one medal, one cup yet to win, the cup which he so nearly won in 2006; the Champions League.

If arsenal had won the Champions League in 2006 then i am 100% sure he would have remained at arsenal for the rest of his footballing career. Winning the champions league is one of the reasons which i think Thierry left, he wants to go to barca to win bigger, achieve higher, and for that reason i can't blame him for leaving and i also feel no arsenal fan can blame him for leaving. (But, of course if you feel differently make sure you leave your comments behind at the end of this post).

I am sure everyone can agree with me, when i say that Arsenal had a pretty awful 06/07 season. This is not what Thierry wants, he wants to achieve the best possible from every season. Arsenal have a very strong, young, squad and im sure if they build this team up pshycially and mentally over the next few seasons, then i'm sure they will be very succesful in the next few years. YES, even WITHOUT Thierry Henry.

Enough on that subject, lets talk about the skill and passion of the 'maestro' him self. Com'on lets all admit it, even you spurs fans, Thierry is just pure class! His touch, skill, thrive, movement, everything about him is just immense. He demands the ball, and when he gets it he's always lookin to move the play foward; the quick 1-2, the through ball and then the outstanding finnish. He's one of those players that when he's playing you just grab a snack, sit down, relax, and enjoy!
Thierry Henry is Magic!

When Making a Blog, Be Patient!

If you decide on publishing a blog, you have to be patient, its vital! After i finnished my blog, i wrote a few posts, but i was waiting for some comments, some feedback. I got a tiny bit impatient and i was beginning to think that the blog was just a waste of time. A miracle; I woke up the next morning checked my email..... i had 2 new comments, hallalooliya! 

What im saying is, keep writing your posts, even if it takes month for your first comment, just keep on writing. And when u do get ur 1st comment, it will feel like a big giagantic lift! Plus i never just got one i got TWO comments.

Please take this on board, if u decide on publishing your own blog. Stay confident, keep writing, advertise, but most off all dont lose your patience (like me ). Trust me, it'll pay off in the end.
