The football maestro Thierry Henry, finally says good bye to arsenal as he sets off for his new career at the Nou Camp, home of Barcelona F.C. Thierry has won all the winners medals a player could dream of getting, he has won the world cup, the european Championship, the FA Premier League and many more. But, he still has one medal, one cup yet to win, the cup which he so nearly won in 2006; the Champions League.
If arsenal had won the Champions League in 2006 then i am 100% sure he would have remained at arsenal for the rest of his footballing career. Winning the champions league is one of the reasons which i think Thierry left, he wants to go to barca to win bigger, achieve higher, and for that reason i can't blame him for leaving and i also feel no arsenal fan can blame him for leaving. (But, of course if you feel differently make sure you leave your comments behind at the end of this post).
I am sure everyone can agree with me, when i say that Arsenal had a pretty awful 06/07 season. This is not what Thierry wants, he wants to achieve the best possible from every season. Arsenal have a very strong, young, squad and im sure if they build this team up pshycially and mentally over the next few seasons, then i'm sure they will be very succesful in the next few years. YES, even WITHOUT Thierry Henry.
Enough on that subject, lets talk about the skill and passion of the 'maestro' him self. Com'on lets all admit it, even you spurs fans, Thierry is just pure class! His touch, skill, thrive, movement, everything about him is just immense. He demands the ball, and when he gets it he's always lookin to move the play foward; the quick 1-2, the through ball and then the outstanding finnish. He's one of those players that when he's playing you just grab a snack, sit down, relax, and enjoy!
